LEWISTON — A Gray man was listed in fair condition Monday at a local hospital with head and internal injuries after his vehicle crashed Sunday night into a tree in New Gloucester, police said.
Eric Bruns, 28, was trapped inside the vehicle and emergency workers had to cut it using “Jaws of Life” to free Bruns from it, according to a written release.
Bruns was flown by LifeFlight from the accident scene on Gloucester Hill Road to Central Maine Medical Center.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
