DURHAM – A 33-year-old Durham woman, Jurie Deruder, escaped apparent injury in a rollover late Saturday morning.

According to Deputy Sheriff Randy Williams, Deruder was driving west on Newell Brook Road, rounded a curve too fast, causing her car to veer onto the right shoulder. She then overcorrected and her car fish-tailed back and forth before going back to the right where it rolled end over end before finally coming to a stop.

Her 1998 Honda Accord was totaled in the 11:36 a.m. crash.
