AUBURN — A 77-year-old man was reported missing by police. He was last seen driving by Walton School at 92 Mary Carroll St. shortly before 9:30 a.m. Monday.

William Young was driving a 1997 mint green Toyota RAV4 with a Maine veterans registration 10029. Police said he was in the late stages of dementia and is not considered dangerous.

Anyone with information about Young’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at 207-333-6650.

Police described Young as:

• white
• gray hair
• hazel eyes
• 5 feet, 9 inches tall
• 190 pounds
• wearing dark gray pants, a light green shirt, light green coat, black sneakers and a tan ball cap.
