• A van driven by Stephen M. Gaul, 42, of Minot, struck the back of an SUV driven by Heidi Wheaton, 47, of Minot, while Wheaton was stopping in traffic at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Main and Lincoln streets. Damage to Gaul’s 2005 GMC was estimated at $3,500; to Wheaton’s 2003 Ford, $2,500.

• Christin S. Bilodeau, 16, of Auburn, lost control of the car she was driving at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday and struck the side of the South Bridge. Damage to the 2005 Chevrolet, owned by R & R Construction, of Lewiston, was estimated at $4,000. The bridge sustained no damage.
