OXFORD – Police in Oxford are investigating a Monday night crash that sent at least two people to the hospital.

Few details were available on the two-vehicle accident that occurred about 9:16 p.m. on Main Street in front of The Big Apple. Officer James Richardson said he was attempting to stop a vehicle driven by Shawn Littlefield, 27, of Windham. He said Littlefield tried to evade police and hit another vehicle in which three people were traveling. Littlefield’s car then rolled over onto its roof.

No other information was available about the driver or passengers in the second vehicle at of 11 p.m.
