WEBSTER PLANTATION, Maine (AP) – Maine state police have received some possible sightings of a woman wanted for questioning in the killings of a Webster Plantation couple, but they’ve yet to locate her.
Police are still looking for the woman believed to have been the last person to see Michael and Valerie Miller alive. She’s described as being in her mid-50s, with dark hair tied into a ponytail and wearing bifocal glasses.
The couple’s bodies were found over the weekend on the kitchen floor of their home. Detectives haven’t commented on possible motive, and autopsy results were withheld.
Michael Miller was a seasonal mill worker who was described as gregarious and willing to loan money to friends in the community of 70. Valerie Miller was a housewife.
