Cathy Goodwin, second from left, of Auburn, Joline Albert of Portland and Debbie Littleton of Auburn talk among trays of Greek pastries Thursday during the Lewiston-Auburn Greek Festival in Lewiston. “We cook everything from scratch,” said David Rivet, co-chairman of the festival. Greek food and music will continue Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Hogan Road. The annual event began six years ago. “We started with a trailer and a tarp,” said event co-chairman Duke Goranites. The festival has grown from a half-day event to three days, and volunteers prepare Greek meals for 4,000 people.
