Cindy Charloff of Auburn works on a knitting project as she listens to Kathy Goldner of Stockton Springs tell stories about knitting for a group of more than 20 knitters at the Lewiston Public Library on Thursday. Goldner, a published author of audio books on knitting with catchy titles such as “No Idle Hands” and “Stitch N Bitch,” talked about the history of knitting and current trends in the craft.
