WINTHROP – “Adventure, Explore, Discover,” a brand-new hiking and activity guide from Kennebec Land Trust, is now available for families. The guide includes directions, trail maps, and in-depth information about eight KLT properties. For each location there’s an Adventure, Explore, Discover sheet for kids to fill out as they wander along the trails.

The guide supplies in-depth information about the following KLT properties: Curtis Homestead Conservation Area, Davidson Nature Preserve, Gannett Woods, Gott Pasture Preserve, Mt. Pisgah Conservation Area, Parker Pond Headland, Vassalboro Wildlife Habitat, and Webber-Rogers Farmstead Conservation Area.

“Adventure, Explore, Discover” booklets are available at Apple Valley Books, Winthrop; the Post Office Café, Mt Vernon; and the KLT office, 134 Main St., Winthrop.
