AUBURN – Police are awaiting autopsy results in the unexpected Sunday morning death of a 27-year-old Lewiston man.

According to police, the medical examiner has not yet confirmed an exact cause of death for Thomas Larrivee, who was discovered unconscious by officers called to an apartment at 15 Reed St. about 1 a.m. Sunday. Larrivee was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police report that Larrivee was visiting Thomas Hamilton, 25, at his apartment, along with a few other people, when officers and emergency personnel were called to the scene. Alcohol is believed to be a factor, but police do not consider the death suspicious.
