Again and again we hear that health insurance prices would go down if there weren’t so many mandates or if we could buy over state lines, which removes our state mandate protections. If you are one of those who think that if we had fewer mandates, less coverage, rights and protections, we would pay less, then I have a question for you.

Were you hollering “rationing” when scientists recently suggested that women don’t need as many mammograms as has previously been recommended?

If you want fewer mandates but no rationing, you are a hypocrite. You can’t have it both ways.

Mandates hold back the line on rationing that insurance companies are trying to win from us every day.
