MINOT – The driver and several passengers in a car that crashed Thursday night in Minot were injured, one critically, police said.

Courtney Stowe, 18, of Poland was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with major injuries. She was listed in critical condition Friday night.

Stowe was riding in a car driven by Samantha Robichaud, 18, of Minot. Shortly before 7 p.m., Robichaud apparently lost control of the 1996 Chevrolet Corsica on Route 124 and it rolled over.

Also suffering minor injuries were passengers Leroy Spearman, 18, of Auburn and Erika Haines, 17, of Poland.

The accident is under investigation by the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.
