A vehicle driven by Craig Rowe, 42, of Auburn hit a parked vehicle owned by Richard Curtis, 65, of Jackman at 6:45 p.m. Friday at the Crossroads Market.

Rowe was backing out of a parking spot, and his vehicle hit Curtis’ car on the driver’s side, locking the vehicles. Unsuccessful in unlocking them, Rowe got out and ran, according to reports. Damage to Curtis’ 2004 Volkswagen was estimated at $3,500, damage to Rowe’s 2004 Ford van was estimated at $2,000.

A vehicle driven by Jillian Hutchinson, 28, of Lewiston spun out of control and into a ditch at 9:40 Friday while traveling southbound at the 3,800 block of Hotel Road. Reports state she entered a patch of fog and lost control.

Damage to Hutchinson’s 2005 Nissan is estimated at $7,000.
