AUBURN – Police are on the lookout for two females in connection with an attempted armed robbery at a Dunkin’ Donuts on Saturday night.

Police say that the two entered the Broad Street Dunkin’ Donuts around 8:30 p.m. and displayed a knife to the store clerk as they demanded money.

The clerk refused to hand over any money and the two females fled the store without confrontation, police said.

They were last seen headed in the direction of Lewiston.

The two females are believed to be between the ages of 16- and 25-years-old, police stated. Police did not have physical descriptions of the two suspects Sunday night.

The Auburn Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the case. Anyone with information regarding the incident should call the Auburn Police Department at 784-7331.
