AUGUSTA – A one-day regional hazardous waste collection will be held Saturday, May 19, at the Augusta Public Works Complex, 55 North St.

Winthrop, Wayne, Readfield, Monmouth, Manchester, Hallowell, Gardiner, Fayette, Belgrade and Augusta residents may participate.

The Kennebec Valley Council of Governments is assisting with project coordination. Environmental Projects Inc. of Auburn has been contracted to collect, recycle and dispose of the hazardous materials.
