The scoop: The board appointed Dennis Atwood as the town’s new road foreman.
New EMA director
Issue: The board elected Andre Marquis as the town’s Emergency Management Agency director, with Don Fournier as assistant director.
The scoop: Both Marquis and Fournier applied for the position. However, selectmen favored Marquis for his attendance at the Sabattus emergency planning meetings.
