GREENE – Developer George Schott is hoping to build a 30,000-square-foot building to house an eclectic collection of things on property he owns just over the Lewiston town line.

Schott is scheduled to appear before the Planning Board on Tuesday, March 27. He’s asking the board to consider an amendment to a previously approved plan that will allow him to construct a new building in front of two warehouses already on the site.

“I have a lot of stuff in storage trailers and other buildings and would like to have them all together,” he said. Among his inventory are carousel horses and motorcycles, items he’s stored since selling his Harley-Davidson store two years ago.

Schott is a member of the Planning Board and will recuse himself from the deliberations, he said.
