LEWISTON – Occupational therapy students at Lewiston-Auburn College will host a holistic health fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the college. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Highlights will include stress relief, self-care tips and therapy aids for a holistic lifestyle. Attendees can try cranio-sacral, sound, magnetic field, flower essence, polarity, massage and herbal therapies, yoga, meditation, acupuncture and chiropractic care.
They can also learn about alternative health practices at one-hour workshops on “Using Your Mind to Heal your Body,” rhythmic dance therapy, Reiki and shamanic practice.
Exhibitors will hold drawings for free gifts every hour throughout the day, including gifts for memberships at the Health Club and Spa, therapy services from various modalities, books and information, and an hour of hypnotherapy.
