• The Fire Department will drive Santa Claus around town from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, beginning in the Fawn Drive-Crowley Road area. He will appear on most of the streets in town.

• The selectmen’s meeting scheduled for Dec. 26 has been canceled due to the holiday.

• Two more volunteers are needed for a town manager search committee. If interested, inquire at the Town Office. Voters in November approved a Town Charter that calls for a town manager style of government. The changes take effect in July 2007.
