SABATTUS – Town Administrator Tracy Fabrizio informed selectmen that the online options for motor vehicle registration and dog licenses that the town will soon see cannot be processed using a debit or credit card as originally intended.

“The town would be charged a fee for each transaction which involves credit or debit cards,” she said. “However, E-checks will be allowed.”

Fabrizio said she is not positive when the online options will be available to residents. “We have to get some training done first,” she said. “It probably won’t happen right away.”

When the transition happens, she said extended business hours will be set back to normal hours, allowing all office help to work the same shift.
