LEWISTON – A cat dropped from a car died Monday night after suffering seizures, according to police.
The cat was dropped from the window of a green Saturn SUV, which was parked at an intersection on Webster Street, about 5 p.m. Monday, police Sgt. Dan Lachance said.
Witnesses told police the cat “appeared to have a seizure” after falling from the car. It was unknown if the fall caused the seizure.
Police were looking for the SUV and its driver Monday night, the sergeant said.
