Dear Sun Spots: Could you please find me a place to find a blade for my pocketknife. It is a Stanley 10-049. I have been looking in all hardware stores as well as others but none of these places carries them. Thank you. – G.L., Auburn.

Answer: Sun Spots contacted Stanley Tools’ customer service department, which advises there are two replacement blades available for this knife. One is called a sheep foot and is part number 11-040. The other is a utility blade and is part number 11-041. Stanley advises that you contact a True Value or Ace Hardware store, which can order it through their warehouse.
