NORWAY — Volunteers at the Roberts Farm Preserve are continuing to complete the snowshoe and ski trails on site. The Western Foothills Land Trust is looking for trail builders to volunteer from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.
Work goals for the day will be to trim and clean up the borders of the trails, cut any protruding roots, restack stone wall ends where the trails cross the farm’s old walls and set trail signs. Volunteers should wear waterproof boots, and bring work gloves, loppers, small limb saws and water.
To sign up to volunteer for either morning or afternoon sessions, e-mail [email protected] or call Lee at 739-2124. The Roberts Farm parking area is located on the east side of Roberts Road.
