Mexico

• Lionel Parent Jr., 33, of Whitman Street, Mexico, on a charge of domestic assault, at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 12 on Whitman Street. He was bailed on $1,000 unsecured bail at the Mexico Police Department and released. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on Feb. 7.

• John Szekely, 46, of Front Street, Rumford, on a charge of shoplifting $250 worth of merchandise at 12:04 p.m. Jan. 10 from Wal-Mart. He was released on $700 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on March 7.

Auburn

• A vehicle driven by Gerald Kostro, 44, of Minot, slid out of control on black ice, rolled over several small trees and landed against a tree in a yard at 7:30 a.m. Friday at 791 West Auburn Road. Damage to Kostro’s 2003 Ford was estimated at $7,000; to the tree, property of James Sylvain, of that address, $2,500.

Mexico

• Vehicles driven by Rolland Gray, 32, of Green Woods Road, Peru, and Sally A. Hanson, 50, of Peru, collided at 11:54 a.m. Jan. 9 at Routes 2 and 108. Gray’s 1991 Ford pickup sustained $250 damage. Hanson’s 2001 Chevrolet SUV sustained $2,500 damage.

• Vehicles driven by Kristen M. Arsenault, 17, of Blanchard Street, Rumford, Casey A. Tanner, 17, of Lyndonville, Vermont, and Brandon M. Coulthard, 20, of Weld Street, Dixfield, collided at 3:22 p.m. Jan. 9 on River Road. Arsenault’s 1987 Ford pickup sustained $4,500 damage; Tanner’s 2002 Ford pickup sustained $10,000 damage; and, Coulthard’s 1989 Chevrolet pickup sustained $200 damage.

• Vehicles driven by Steven D. Aldrich, 61, of Roxbury Road, Mexico, and Kevin Gallant, 29, of Howard Street, Mexico, collided at 6 p.m. Jan. 10 at the entrance to the parking lot of the Mexico Plaza. Aldrich’s 1998 Ford pickup sustained $1,200 damage. Gallant’s 1998 Ford pickup sustained $2,500 damage.

• Vehicles driven by Edward H. Paterson, 45, of Franklin Street, Rumford, and Nancy A. Bouchard, 35, of Penobscot Street, Rumford, collided at 11:20 a.m. Jan. 12 on Main Street. Paterson’s 2003 Saab sustained $2,500 damage. Bouchard’s 2002 Ford sedan sustained $450 damage.
