LEWISTON – The International Students of Lewiston-Auburn, a multicultural and international student group, will host a discussion of the effects of 9/11 this Sunday at Lewiston-Auburn College.
The discussion will focus on the effects of the terrorist attacks on American society, immigrant experiences since 9/11, federal funding and the war on terror, the allocation of federal and state resources, and coping with the fear associated with that day.
This special “Renaissance” event will be held from noon to 4:30 p.m. at USM/L-A, 51 Westminster St. in Lewiston. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend.
