Lewiston

• A car driven by Clint J. Deuschle, 23, of Lewiston, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Rita A. Blanchette, 50, of Lewiston, while Blanchette was stopped in traffic at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday at Canal and Cedar streets. Damage to Deuschle’s 2005 Hyundai was estimated at $4,500. There was no damage to Blanchette’s 2002 Chevrolet.
