LEWISTON – The Androscoggin County Republicans will hold their annual Lincoln Day Dinner and Auction on Friday, March 4, at the Ramada Inn.

The social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30. The guest speaker will be U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine.

Republicans throughout Maine and the country celebrate the greatness of President Abraham Lincoln by holding events in his honor. In addition to remarks from Sen. Collins, the program will include a reading from Abe Lincoln, awards and an auction with auctioneer John Morrison.

The public is invited to attend; reservations may be made by contacting Rosemarie Butler at 783-6373 by March 1. The cost, including dinner, is $30. Checks should be made out to the Androscoggin County Republican Committee. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
