LEWISTON – Two men were in the Androscoggin County Jail on Saturday night after being arrested on charges of sexual assault, police said.

Todd S. Greene, 43, of 77 Ellingwood Road, South Paris, was arrested and charged with gross sexual assault, a Class B crime. The assault allegedly happened at a Blake Street residence. at 3:19 a.m. Saturday.

James A. Richards, 30, of 63 Jeoffrey St., Auburn, was also arrested and charged with unlawful sexual contact, also at 3:19 a.m. Saturday at the same Blake Street address. That is a Class C crime, police said.

Details were incomplete, but police said the arrests were made after a 21-year-old woman complained she was assaulted.
