The town has finished paving roads for the season and will pick up where it left off in spring. Road Commissioner James Wood said the roads have become too cold, preventing paving that was slated for this year.

Littlefield, Lake and Elm streets are just a few of the roads that are scheduled to be paved early next spring.

Sabattus: Code office changes hours

The code enforcement office will change its hours of operation beginning today. The office will be open Tuesdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon. The office has canceled its regular Thursday office hours, but appointments may be scheduled ahead of time. Any questions or appointments can be addressed by calling the office at 375-8419.

Sabattus: Board meeting postponed

Due to the Nov. 2 election, selectmen will not hold their regular meeting that night. It has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 3, allowing the town to address any laws that may affect the town’s operations.
