LEWISTON – Local Republicans will hold a special caucus to nominate candidates for Districts 72 and 73 of the state House of Representatives, to replace nominees who recently withdrew.

The special caucus will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at the Lewiston Multi-Purpose Center, Room B.

Under state law, a party must call a caucus of all registered members of the local committee who live in the affected legislative district to nominate a new candidate for the November election.
