Dear Sun Spots: I am making a Shaker wall clock, using pine wood. The plan I’m using calls for square-cut finish nails. I have looked and called locally with no results. Maybe another woodworker would know of a source? – No Name, Lisbon.
Answer: In addition to responses from readers, Sun Spots called several places and was unable to locate any also. However, you may want to try contacting the following for salvaged building materials that may assist you in your search:

Dear Sun Spots: I need help with finding a pattern, 24, for a jumper, also an A-line dress. I cannot find any.
Also, perhaps someone who crochets could help me. I have all the parts done to Eeyore of Winnie the Pooh fame, but I cannot put it together as I do not understand the directions. If there is someone out there who perhaps has done this one, please contact me. I can be reached at (207) 786-7665. – Frances Westleigh, Lewiston.
Dear Sun Spots: In the past, you’ve had inquiries as to how to remove the yellowing on floors caused by rubber rug backing. I have discovered that leaving undiluted Lestoil on the area for a few hours restores it to its original color.
Now I have a couple of inquiries: I have looked in most of the supermarkets and department stores in this area and have been unable to find the Royal instant cheesecake mix. Auburn’s Wal-Mart had the Lite version of it, but not the regular. Most stores are selling the store brand or Jell-O brands.
Also, I would like to know the nearest place to find Italian lemon cream torte, like the one served at the Olive Garden. Thank you. – No Name, Leeds.
Answer: In addition to responses from readers, Sun Spots located the following recipe for Italian Lemon Cream Torte from CreateACakeShop.com:
Olive Garden’s Lemon Cream Cake. Ingredients: 1¾ cups cake flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ cup white sugar, ½ cup vegetable oil, 6 egg yolks, ¾ cup water, 1 tablespoon lemon zest, 6 egg whites, ½ teaspoon cream of tartar, ¾ cup white sugar, 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 2½ cups lemon pie filling, 8 slices lemon. Method: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees centigrade). In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and ½ cup sugar. Add oil, egg yolks, water and lemon rind. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. In a small bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until peaks form. Gradually add ¾ cup sugar, and beat until very stiff and shiny peaks form. Fold one-third of the whites into the batter, then quickly fold in remaining whites until no streaks remain. Turn batter into ungreased 10-inch tube pan. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Invert cake and cool completely in pan. When cool, loosen edges and shake pan to remove cake. Filling Method: Beat whipping cream to stiff peaks. Fold in lemon filling. Chill until stiff. Assembly: Slice cake horizontally into 3 equal layers. Fill layers with 1/3 cup of filling. Spread remaining filling on top layer. Decorate with lemon slices.
