• No alcohol allowed around the balloon and festival sites.
• No smoking around the balloons or on the launch site. A cigarette thrown on the ground can burn a hole in the balloon fabric.
• Watch where you are going when you spot a balloon while driving. Pull your car off to the side of the road completely to watch balloons.
• Be careful not to step on the fabric when balloons are on the ground.
• When following a balloon in flight, please be careful not to drive onto or walk on private property without the owner’s permission.
• Please give the chase crews’ vehicles the right of way to get in and out of launch sites and landing sites.
• Please do not bring dogs to any of the festival activities. There have been several injuries in the past due to dogs fighting with one another and bolting when they hear the blast from the balloon burners. Plus, they leave unpleasant surprises on the ground for spectators to step in.
