Dear Sun Spots: On Oct. 20 I wrote to Sun Spots requesting yarn for a mother/student who is excited about learning to knit. The response was wonderful!

I have no time for this hobby at the present time, but I knitted afghans and slippers galore while I was at home raising my four daughters. Yarn is expensive! Needless to say, I was excited when I saw the yarn Angie would have for her projects this winter (and next). When I told her about the yarn you all donated, she was ecstatic! Some of the yarn has already been delivered to her and she is working on a sweater sampler already. It warms my heart to see her so excited about this craft. I will be delivering the remainder of the yarn to Cooper, Maine, on Thanksgiving weekend. I want to thank everyone who responded to my letter. I am so blessed by this entire Sun Spots experience. You were all so wonderful. Thank you all, again. – Bernadette, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: What a wonderful job you do!

I wonder if you could please help me? I would like to have an address, if possible, for Hamilton Beach/Proctor/Silex. I have a small True Air product of theirs and I do not know how to clean it as I don’t have any directions for it.

It is model No. 04251, Type AP03 Series B0910BB. I would appreciate your help very much. Thank you in advance. – M.G.M., No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I met a woman at Ames when they were here, and she crocheted. She gave me her business card, which I have misplaced. Her name was Karen and she lived on Malo Street in Lewiston. I can’t remember her last name. I would like her to give me a call at (207) 353-8260. Thank you very much.
