AUBURN – City contractors will close Youngs Corner Road Wednesday to install a new culvert.
The road will be closed all day between Lost Valley Road and Perkins Ridge Road. Drivers bound for Lost Valley via Hotel Road will be granted access, according to pavement management technician Paul Niefhoff. Everett Road residents will be directed to Perkins Ridge Road.
Crews remade the road last summer.
That included putting down a base layer of asphalt, Niefhoff said. A final layer of asphalt is scheduled to go in this fall, once the culvert is installed.
