(This story is continuous to Halloween Part 1.)
“Haven’t you guys heard the stories about this place,” Emma said. “Remember the one about the ghosts that haunt it, or how about the one with the numerous amount of DEAD people’?” Emma exclaimed to the other girls. Megsy just kept on walking, but Aver started to slow down.
“Maybe your right Emma,” Aver agreed. “Maybe we shouldn’t go in there. Also, wouldn’t it be considered trespassing?”
“Well if we get in trouble we will just tell them the truth, we heard a scream and we are making sure the person is okay,” Megsy explained. “And plus those stories we heard about are just that, stories, nothing more.”
“I’m still not sure we should go in,” Emma said as they reached the old, worn-out door.
“Well it’s too late now,” Aver said in return. “Well who’s going to open the door?”
“I’ll do it,” Megsy exclaimed in a tone that made everyone else understand she was frustrated with them. As she slowly turned the brass knob the whole house seemed to groan. All three of the girls’ hearts jumped to their throats’ as Megsy pushed open the door. ” See, that wasn’t too bad.”
“Yeah, well we haven’t actually gotten to the area where the ghosts are,” Aver retorted. “Well, let’s just go in…unless you have come to your senses about going home.”
“NO, let’s go in…if anything happens we can just leave,” Emma explained.
