This year the district two tryouts were held at Falmouth High school. There were many students there to tryout. So when we got there we all realized that we really needed to do our best.

From Tripp Middle School eleven students tried out for the district 2 band, and about seven people tried out for the chorus. All of us were really nervous. After all of our tryouts we talked about how well or how badly we did. We kept on asking our music teacher, Mrs. Riman when the scores would come in.

Then on Nov. 16, 2003 all of the students that had tried out found out how they had done. Out of all the band students only four had made it. Twice as many people made it this year than last year. Out of the chorus only two people made it. All I have to say is congratulations to the following students, Allison Neal, Dustin Harrison, Lauren Turner, Krista Lacroix, Trisha Olsen and Danielle Giffune.
