I am requesting the words to an old song from the ’60s or ’70s. It is by Johnny Nash and the title is “I Can See Clearly Now.” I do hope one of your readers can find this for me. – No Name, No Town.

Answer: You might be interested in noting that Nash is best known for the reggae/pop hybrid, “I Can See Clearly Now,” which propelled him to international acclaim in the early-1970s. Though American born and raised, Nash’s parents were Caribbean emigrants, and the cross-cultural influence enhanced the singer/songwriter/producer’s eclectic songwriting. Early collaborations with then-unknown Jamaican songwriter Bob Marley, paved the way for Nash’s career as one of the most eclectic African-American singer-songwriters of his generation.
