WINTHROP – With just one of two towns in House District 82 reporting as of 11:40 p.m., the race between Republican Patrick S. Flood and Democrat William D. MacDonald was too close to call. The district includes Winthrop and Readfield.

As of press time, Readfield voters had narrowly chosen MacDonald over Flood, 812 to 799.
