• Pre-K – Love Your Neighbor Students visit residents of Schooner Estates for Christmas and Mother’s Day

– Deliver hand-made Christmas cards

– Sing songs

– Perform finger plays

• Kindergarten – Sharing God’s Love with Those in Our Community

– Students will collect, sort, organize and donate gently used clothing, toys, videos and blankets to St. Mary’s Hospital during Catholic Schools Week.

• First Grade – Faith in Action

– Students earn money to purchase and donate gifts to the Church giving tree

– Donate hand-made Christmas cards and ornaments to D’Youville Pavillion

– Take turns cleaning school playground

• Second Grade – Wishes for the Catholic Community

– Students will create care packages for soldiers from donated items and send them overseas.

• Third Grade – Smile Train

Students lead a dress down day and a donation collection and donate to the Smile Train, an international organization that repairs cleft lips for $250 each.

• Fourth Grade – Helping Hands

Students take turns cleaning lunch tables and assisting Pre-K students with lunch and dressing up for recess.

• Fifth Grade – Feeding the Hungary and Sheltering the Homeless

– Student run raffle of donated items with proceeds donated to St. Martin de Porres Shelter

– Students spend time organizing food boxes at Good Shepherd Food Bank

• Sixth Grade – Visiting the Sick and Lonely

– Students visit and care for residents at local retirement homes

• Seventh Grade – Giving Back at Home

– Students determine a project each year to give back to their school

– This year’s project is a playground “makeover”.

• Eighth Grade – Shining Brightly

– Students determine a local community service project each year

– This year’s project is graffiti removal at several Lewiston/Auburn locations
