LIVERMORE — The North Livermore Baptist Church’s annual Christmas Eve service of carols and candles will be held at 11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, followed by the singing of “Joy to the World” on the front steps of the church. All are welcome.

Chowder luncheon

FARMINGTON — The Trinity Methodist Church, Route 2, will have a community fish chowder luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 6 through March 31. If school is cancelled, the luncheon will be cancelled.
