The West Paris community "Let it’s Light Shine" at the West Paris Public Library on Dec. 15, when the Little Castle was outlined with white lights for the third year. Sullivan Poland, a third-grader at the Agnes Gray school, turned on the white lights that outline the castle, and his sister Molly, a first-grader, turned on the red heart in the window. The lights will remain on until Valentine’s Day. The lights were donated to honor family and friends or given as memorials for loved ones. About 40 people attended the lighting, and stayed to sing carols and sip hot chocolate. The "Let Your Light Shine" campaign benefits the library addition, which will open in early February. Some of the participating community members are pictured.
