Conrad and Lance Dorval were the December winners of Paris Public Library’s “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.” They correctly identified four nouns in a sentence. Their entries were picked randomly, one by Librarian Shannon May and the other by Librarian Jennifer Lewis. Prizes included seasonal jigsaw puzzles, seasonal pencils, gift tags, candy canes, highlighters and chocolates.
January entry forms will be available Monday, Jan. 4, at the library. The question or directive will focus elementary science. The final date for entries will be Saturday, Jan. 23. The contest is open to patrons of all ages.
