From President Barack Obama’s level on down through all levels of government, bribery of government officials is alive and well, running rampant while no one cares — not even the judicial branch, including the Justice Department.

Those officials call it negotiations or compromise. What is happening is a crime against the American people.

The good-old-boys club is still in session. What has happened is a dictatorship, and no congressman has enough backbone to say no to the president.

What do you think those closed-door sessions between the administration and congressmen are about? There is arm-twisting, bribery and intimidation involved to get the votes required. The Democratic Party is participating openly in such activity, with no regard for the law of the land.

Do not think I am only picking on the Democratic Party. All the Republican Party wants to do is be negative, not get into the fight, be passive, not take officials to task for their activities and actions.

Whatever happened to investigations, recalls, impeachment proceedings, censure and prosecution? No one in government loses his job, no matter what he has done. There are no ethics in government anymore.

So I ask: What has government done for the public recently? My answer: Put generations of families in debt; taken away more disposable income; and eliminated or decreased individual freedoms.
