Stephaine ‘Stella’ D. Pelletier
1918 – 2010
TOPSHAM — Stephaine “Stella” D. Pelletier, 91, formerly of 147 Highland Ave., Lewiston, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her children on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the Amenity Manor, where she had been a resident since February 2007.
She was born in Berlin, N.H., Dec. 31, 1918, the daughter of Joseph and Annie Derzen. Educated in Lewiston schools, she married Roger R. Pelletier on May 1, 1948. Mr. Pelletier passed away in 2000. She worked for New England Telephone for several years, and then as an inspector for Bates Manufacturing. She worshiped for many years at St. Patrick’s Church in Lewiston.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Pelletier and her partner, Kim Schaff of Harpswell and Claire and husband, Tim Mc Donough, of Auburn; a son, Chuck Pelletier of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Stephen and Meaghan Mc Donough of Auburn; and a brother, Charles Derzen of St. Louis, Mo.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Mary Palange.
Her children are grateful for the loving care she received at the Amenity Manor in Topsham.
