AUBURN – The Auburn/Lewiston YMCA Grade 5-6 boys’ basketball travel team ran its record to a perfect 6-0 with a 56-25 victory agaist Skowhegan.
The twin towers of Austin Cox and Nate Albert led the way with 12 and 10 points each. Guards C.J. Jipson and Brandon Varney chipped in with 8 points apiece. Kyle Romero and Avery Mackenzie contributed to the cause with several rebounds and assists. Danny Witham paced Skowhegan with 15 point.
Y’s next matchup is Sunday, Jan. 24 against once-beaten Gardiner.
