On Jan. 10, Ali Desjardin of Auburn, class of 2010, and Nicole Drake of Sabattus, class of 2010, participated in the 3rd District American Legion Oratorical Contest. Drake placed second and Desjardin placed third. The contest consisted of two speeches regarding the constitution and a citizen’s civic responsibility to the country.
