WILTON — A Wilton man faces a drug charge after he was accused of selling Oxycodone, a prescription medication, Franklin County Sheriff Lt. Niles Yeaton said Tuesday.
Deputy Ken Charles arrested Sherrill Herndon, 54, on Friday on a felony charge of trafficking in a schedule W drug, Yeaton said. A conviction on the charge is punishable by up to 10 years in jail.
Deputies initiated an investigation into the matter in September and finally had enough evidence to make an arrest, he said.
Herndon was released on $250 cash bail on Saturday.
He is scheduled to appear on March 19 in Franklin County Superior Court in Farmington.
