Collins rep available

FRYEBURG — A representative from Sen. Susan Collins’ Lewiston office will hold office hours from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 29, at the Fryeburg Town Office,
16 Lovewell Pond Road.

Carlene Tremblay will be available to
hear constituents’ concerns and to provide
assistance with federal issues and agencies, such as Social Security, veterans affairs and citizenship and immigration. No appointment is
necessary.

Karaoke

NORWAY — The American Legion Post 82 will host karaoke from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
The cost of $6 will benefit the post. Food will be available. Music
will be provided by “The Old Crows.”

Community garden

NORWAY — There will be an Alan Day Community Garden meeting from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 31, at the UU Church, Main Street. All are welcome to help visualize and plan a community garden

Heart healthy soups

SOUTH PARIS — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens
Memorial Hospital will offer a “Heart-Healthy Winter Soups”
program from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at
the First Congregational Church, 17 E. Main St.
The snow date will be Feb. 10.

Pat Watson, registered dietitian, and chef Elton Cole
will prepare heart-healthy soups for all to sample and recipes will be provided. There is a $10 fee to participate. Registration is required. For more
