RUMFORD — Black Mountain of Maine will hold a snowmobile hill climb at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22.

There will be men’s and women’s classes from 500 to open.

The lodge will open at 4 p.m. for bib pick-up and last-minute registration. It will end at 5:30 p.m. The entry fee for the climb will be $20 on the day of the event and $15 for those who preregister. Registration forms are available at the lodge or at www.skiblackmountain.org.

All participants must sign a waiver, and those under age 18 must have the signature of a parent or guardian. Participants must be 14 years or older.

The café and Last Run Lodge will be open. Admission at the gate is $3 for ages 6 to 12; $5, ages 13 and over; under 5, free.
