OXFORD — The Oxford Station Community Center will offer basket-making classes, free to all Oxford residents. Participants will pay the material fees each week. Nonresidents can attend the four classes for $20 plus the materials fees.
The classes will be held on the following dates:
Sunday, Feb. 7, small market basket, material fees $6.
Sunday, Feb. 14, napkin basket, $5.
Sunday, Feb. 21, bucket basket, $8.
Sunday, Feb. 28, wrought iron handle muffin basket, $10.
A cribbage game night will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, open to all ages and skill levels.
Free movies will also be shown. “Coraline” will play at 5 p.m. Friday,
Feb. 5.
On Saturday, Feb. 6, “Surf’s Up” will play at 1 p.m. and “Kung Fu Panda” will play at 3 p.m.
